The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Overview:
IT Finance Engagement Lead reports into the IT Finance Service Owner and will work closely with the Finance Organization and engage with business leaders to deliver quality IT solutions and support Finance applications. This role manages the intake process for Finance technology projects and works with IT PMO office and IT Service Delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of all projects. The Engagement Lead works with business partners to understand business processes and requirements and works with IT Service Delivery to translate them into technical requirements and manage enhancements to existing applications. This role is responsible for consistent communication back to business leaders on all IT initiatives and operational issues assessing risk and impact to the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop consistent engagement and communications process with Finance stakeholders, IT PMO and IT Service Delivery teams.
  • Lead/facilitate business and data requirements sessions; Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications aligned with program/project goals
  • Assist in the development of standardized status and reporting dashboards as required from the Project Management team
  • Coordinate implementation of related project activities and provide guidance and support to other team members
  • Expected to quickly develop an acumen and intuition for core technology related concepts
  • Responsible for conducting stakeholder meetings, track project milestones, all stakeholder coordination and assistance with the submission status reports and presentations as needed
  • Able to lead/facilitate required application discovery, rationalization, decommission, and replacement (RFPs/RFIs) utilizing standard approved Corning processes
  • Coordinate vendor assessments and build evaluation models for decisioning
  • Facilitate process discovery sessions with all levels of the organization - from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various Service Owners
  • Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for IT Services
  • Identify issues and risks
  • Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) strategy, scenarios and test data setup
  • Conduct/provide oversight to UAT and post go-live production validations
  • Communicate, liaise and contribute to organizational change management with various departments in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved process changes verbally and/or through written documentation.
  • Create, organize, and contribute to training curriculum for selected technology platform(s)
  • Communicate status showing progress towards defined goals and tasks, as well as to highlight discovered opportunities and next steps on key processes.
  • Partner with IT Service Lines to educate business leadership and users on existing services and on new services that may serve existing or emerging business needs.
  • Participate on project teams (IT, Vendors and or Solution Implementation partners) to deliver projects in the roadmap on schedule and within budget.
  • Participate in technology planning and strategy execution including identification of technology needs and participation in vendor evaluation/selection.
  • Support and manage organization specific IT applications and monitor their overall effectiveness in meeting business needs.
  • Lead smaller IT projects where appropriate.
  • Develop business process understanding in order to facilitate conversations between functional and technical audiences.
  • Participate in the Finance Department s ongoing technical technology system maintenance activities.
  • Encourage customers to accept standardized technology (Corning First).
  • Solve customer problems by analyzing solutions to find common issues identify root cause(s) and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of applications and hardware solutions.
  • Respond to customer s and IT leaders questions about a process or technology.
  • Keep up with the latest technologies and suggest how to apply the technology in the business.

Education &
Experience:

  • B.S. degree (in IT, Finance or other business-related field), with related business discipline experience.
  • 7-10 years relevant experience including, 3
    years of experience in IT Engagement or Operations and 3
    years of experience in Finance related roles
  • Experience managing projects across multiple stakeholder

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
