Scope of Position:
Ensures the administration of HR programs, processes and policies including data integrity of HR systems. Establishes and reinforces Corning Values and positive work environment, while complying with all legal and regulatory requirements. Ensures standards and guidelines are understood and consistently applied and HR programs, processes and policies meet or beat quality and delivery expectations.

Day to Day
Responsibilities:

  • Implements HR programs / processes / policies in compliance with current legal and regulatory policies. Recommends areas for standardization to reduce complexity and cost.
  • Acts as Human Resources Data Steward managing HRIS data, support onboarding, department changes, report generation, etc.
  • Performs analysis and reporting of data contained in the SAP SuccessFactors HR database (headcount, leave of absence, diversity, compensation details, employee recognition, employee profile components, performance review processes, etc.)
  • HR/Payroll administrator for non-exempt. SME on Kronos system.
  • Assists with employee event coordination for division, i.e. training events, celebrations, service award events, etc.
  • Support hiring process in SAP SuccessFactors (position creation, requisition activation, offer component entry, electronic onboarding) and in-person onboarding (new hire badge reception, I-9 verification, onboarding meetings with New, Rehire, Transfer Employees, and Summer Interns)
  • Compose, edit, and post division-wide organizational announcements
  • Liaison to domestic and international plant HRMs, division Administrative team, and division Business Team
  • Support MOU and immigration processes for the division.
  • Build HR reputation through value-added interactions with customers/employees. Acts as first points of contact for employees general HR requests.

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional behaviors and good demeanor
  • SAP SuccessFactors SME with ability to create and generate reports and manipulate data
  • Detail oriented, manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills clear and succinct in a variety of communications settings
  • Excellent MS Office suite & Outlook skills; experienced with Excel
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and self-motivated, but also comfortable to work as part of the team
  • Shows initiative (self-starter) and works independently on assignments and issues that arise
  • Action oriented, able to handle a fast-paced environment
  • HR service orientation

Education and
Experience:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business / Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3
    years in a high level administrative, coordinator or HR administration role

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
