Day to Day
Responsibilities:

  • Leading projects with a primarily environmental focus (permitting or construction)
  • Technical level Environmental Engineer to support facilities globally (existing; expansions; new construction).
  • Technical level Engineer overseeing Air Permitting and Compliance (eg Title V) program globally.
  • Respond to new environmental information (i.e. government regulations, industry standards or corporate guidance) and support facilities impacted by changes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations and provide interpretation to facilities as necessary (air subject matter expert).
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret environmental statistical data.
  • Work with facilities to set short (annual) and long term (3-5 year) goals for environmental improvements.
  • Provide consultation regarding environmental education and training, support and guidance to facilities to maintain an environment consistent with company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and communicate environmental permit requirements and data generated to prepare permits.
  • Assist facilities with ensuring the determination of root cause and effective corrective actions in regard to environmental incidents and/or inspection findings.
  • Support projects as requested and collaborate with company and consultant resources to leverage best work practices and to provide additional skill-level support.

Projects involved with:

  • Air permitting and compliance; support existing, renovations and expansions, and new construction globally (Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific). Role within group:
    Technical level Engineer within the Americas (but provide globally support).

Required Education & Years of
Experience:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
  • 6+ years work experience in manufacturing and/or environmental consulting

Required Skills:

  • Title V air permitting expertise; subject matter expert (SME)
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisor experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)

Desired Skills:

  • Masters or advanced degree
  • Certified Black Belt
  • Experience with risk and statistical analysis

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with success across diverse communities (workforce, educational, regulatory, commercial, etc.)
  • Understands and demonstrates the characteristics of an effective team member (reliability, trustworthy, active participation, etc.)
  • Ability to motivate others toward a desired vision, drive change and long lasting enthusiasm

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Normal Business Hours (8 5, M F), however, expected to work hours required to achieve objectives including overtime, weekend, and off-shift hours.

Travel Requirements:

  • Estimate travel at 30% - 50% depending upon specific project assignment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
