The global Finance Function acts as a proactive business partner, advising and making recommendations based upon financial projections and historical performance. Finance also provides financial expertise companywide and ensures accurate and efficient transaction processing.

Job Description:
Anti-dumping trade litigation support:
Gain clear and complete understanding of anti-dumping regulations, particularly as it relates to financial reporting and calculations.
Assist core AD team with proactive financial and general strategies associated with anti-dumping litigation support.
Coordinate, administer and control global financial responses related to anti-dumping (AD) trade litigation.
Lead cross functional global teams (finance, commercial, PLM, manufacturing) to coordinate financial response development.
Audit team member submissions and documentation to ensure 100% accuracy.
Work with internal leadership and external counsel and consultants to strategize and finalize responses, including scenario/ option development and vetting.
Train, drill (mock audit) and lead finance teams before and during verification audits.
General finance background required to support AD efforts and for ultimate transition into financial role:
Implements and ensures business adherence to internal finance controls including data and reporting standards and compliance procedures (e.g., Sarbanes Oxley regulations, internal and external audits).
Designs Finance programs, processes, and procedures across the division (e.g. closing, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, inventory tracking, unit cost) that enable improved cycle time and better decision making in support of the achievement of corporate, function and business goals and objectives.
Supervises and prepares the businesses financial bookkeeping, records, and statements to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of reporting with GAAP, statutory, and tax accounting requirements.
Provides finance expertise and decision support to business leaders in support of the division strategy, goals and objectives.
o Identifies and assesses the financial implications (e.g., ROI, IRR) of acquisitions/divestitures within the business. Recommends appropriate actions to maximize investment returns.
o Monitors and identifies budget and forecast variances for the division and provides business leadership with insights and perspectives on appropriate actions required to address variances.
o Supports regional strategy teams, capacity planning decisions, business restructuring planning and execution.
o Ensures the accurate and timely reporting of the Divisions Sales forecast to the Executive Leadership Team.
o Ability to take on various ad-hoc responsibilities as required.
o Serves as a bridge between the division and the Finance function to ensure division business requirements influence the Finance strategy and the Finance strategy is relevant to the division strategy.
o Implements performance management and rewards processes/practices within the division Business Finance group to drive required levels of employee accountability for desired performance results and ensure retention of top performers.
o Recruits, trains, develops and retain key finance talent.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science or equivalent technical degree.
MBA or masters level degree
Proven knowledge of US GAAP
Plant Controller experience (within or outside of Corning).
Experience in driving continous improvement goals.
Desired Education & Experience:
CPA and/or CMA
Experience in managing a cohesive staff and collaboration across functional areas.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
