Role Purpose:
Ensures COE programs / processes / policies comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
Ensures COE key stakeholders fully understand the value, benefit, and use of COE programs / processes / policies. Ensures standards and guidelines are understood and consistently applied
Ensures COE programs / processes / policies meet or beat cost, quality, delivery, and business impact expectations
Ensures financial decisions and recommendations support top quartile cost performance objectives while maintaining appropriate levels of HR service delivery
Ensures COE programs / processes / policies effectively support the achievement of desired levels of employee engagement and productivity
Responsibilities:
Implement change management strategies that ensure successful implementation and ongoing use of COE programs / processes / policies
Implement COE programs / processes / policies in compliance with current legal and regulatory policies and in direct or indirect support of Corning Values and positive work environment objectives
Assist Financial Benefits Manager in the analysis of all financial benefit programs (costs, budgets, forecasts, contributions, program effectiveness, etc.)
Provide functional expertise for financial benefit programs (pension, 401k)
Support and implement all financial benefits and COE projects to cost, quality, delivery, and business impact expectations
Support administration of qualified and non-qualified financial benefits including review of processes, review of benefit calculations, statements, etc.
Support benefit plan compliance activities (IRS, PBGC, DOL, ERISA, etc.)
Manage annual plan audit process and relationships with auditors
Provide support for legal matters related to financial benefits
Provide participant and plan issue resolution
Interpret plan documents and provide support to legal in developing plan language
Support integration and divestiture activity (due diligence, cost analysis, integration process, etc.)
Support actuarial consulting relationship and activities
Ensure financial decisions and recommendations support top quartile cost performance objectives while maintaining appropriate levels of HR service delivery
Conduct periodic reviews and evaluations of COE programs / processes / policies and external market practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement to better meet corporate, business, function and employee needs
Provide reporting on the performance and impact of COE programs / processes / policies, and provide recommendations to ensure achievement of targeted results
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise through independent research and participation in company / professional groups
Standardize COE programs / processes / policies, as appropriate, to reduce complexity of administration and associated costs
Identify trends and enabling technologies that will improve ability to meet strategic objectives
Collaborate with BUHR partners, business leaders, and other COEs to leverage their expertise to expedite integration of business-relevant COE programs/processes/policies/systems
Monitor vendor performance in cooperation with Procurement and other appropriate functions to establish stronger vendor relationships, and interact with vendors per service level agreement, as needed, to maximize delivery of outsourced services
Assist in the development and delivery of educational and compliance benefits communications
Educate HR, BUHR partners, business leaders, and other COEs about when and how to properly use COE programs / processes / policies

Experience:
At least 5 years of pension plan experience (combination of Corporate Benefits, consulting, administration)
Successful track record of performance in a COE role
Successful track record in the development & deployment of financial benefits processes or programs
Successful track record in partnering with external providers / vendor management
Successful track record of continuous process/product improvement using defined methodology
Work experience supporting multiple client groups
Proven needs assessment and gap analysis skills
Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Human Resources, Business or equivalentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
