Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Support the Engineering Portfolio Manager with responsibilities related to maintain expense project portfolio, tracking project and department spending, developing tools and reports, and managing shared projects/relationships between CSM, HPD, and CDT.
Support the CDT and HPD businesses by Executing quality and process excellence initiatives. Maintain the CDT-E PEx portfolio and own PEx status updates.
Projects involved with:
Portfolio Engineer
Support Portfolio Manager with Project Spending Portfolio and other ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Monthly DE Spending
Monthly Shared Projects Spending
Support Greenbook/Blackbook processes provide data analysis and reports.
Liaison with Development and Adjacency businesses
Support Engineering staff by providing monthly project and department spending reports
Provide analysis and support for cost-share and adjacency projects
Facilitate quarterly Shared Projects review with CDT and CSM
Support continuous improvement for portfolio tools/processes
Support CPM integration processes help develop tools
Work with DE Staff/HR to coordinate hiring plans and budgets
PEx Engineer
Utilize DMAIC methodology to implement process or quality improvements.
Support CDT-DE projects as project belt when needed.
Develop and maintain the Division Engineering PEx and MEE Portfolio in coordination with Division PEx Leadership and MEE Champion
Coach/Train individuals on the use of Performance Excellence tools
Lead/Facilitate DMAIC projects
Facilitate KT- problem solving activities including DA. PA, SA, and PPA
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
Must be available for early morning/evening calls
Travel Requirements:
20% International
Required Education:
BS/MS Engineering
Required
Experience:
Minimum of 3
years engineering/manufacturing experience
Required Skills:
Familiarity and proficiency in the use of MS Office tools
Ability to present data and analysis in both verbal and written/graphical form that is understandable to broad audiences
Demonstrated skills in showing initiative, planning, organizing and decision-making
Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher preferred
Proficient in use of Performance Excellence/Lean Methodologies
Desired Skills:
Familiarity and experience with MEE desired
Some statistical knowledge (descriptive statistics, regression and correlation analysis, time series analysis, statistical process control, process capability studies, data mining, comparison tests)
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership):
Demonstrated skills in showing initiative, planning, organizing and decision-making

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
