The global Finance Function acts as a proactive business partner, advising and making recommendations based upon financial projections and historical performance. Finance also provides financial expertise companywide and ensures accurate and efficient transaction processing
Position Description
The Finance M&A Manager will coordinate/perform M&A-related activities for the Finance function on projects assigned by the supervisor. Responsibilities will include:
Subject matter expert for standard valuation model
Populate and maintain valuation model based on BU input
Participate in/ perform Treasury and financial due diligence procedures
Support pre-LOI target assessments
Work with BU Finance personnel, Director of Finance M&A and external due diligence providers to design due diligence scopes
Interact with all Finance sub-functions (accounting, tax, risk management, pension, shared services)
Support BU Finance, Technical Accounting, and external valuation firms with accounting for the acquisition
Periodic updates to Finance M&A intranet site
Participate in/ perform analysis of closing date accounts and purchase price adjustment computations
Other M&A transaction activities as required
Travel Requirements
Some travel may be required, international passport is a plus. Amount of travel will be less than 15%
Education & Experience
8 10 years of
Experience: including 3
years of transaction services experience performing financial due diligence and 5
years of Audit experience with a nationally-recognized public accounting firm
BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
CPA and MBA preferred
Required Skills
Mastery-level knowledge of US GAAP with at least awareness-level knowledge of IFRS
Acquisition accounting/financial reporting experience
Product/segment profitability analysis
Sarbanes Oxley, Financial Controls
Strong writing capability and Analytical skills
Strong computer and system skills, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized

Ability to work in a matrix environment as well as independently
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with global finance team, corporate counterparts and business customers/suppliers at all levels of the organization

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
