The global Finance Function acts as a proactive business partner, advising and making recommendations based upon financial projections and historical performance. Finance also provides financial expertise companywide and ensures accurate and efficient transaction processing.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Manages Finance processes and procedures for the plant ensuring accuracy, reliability and timeliness for Closings, Budgets, Forecasts, 5 year strategic planning.
Monitors plants financial records and statements to ensure timeliness, accuracy and consistency of reporting with GAAP, Sarbox, Statutory, and tax accounting requirements.
Provides ongoing Finance expertise and decision support to the plant management to enable the achievement of plant goals and objectives
Manages and allocates team resources for Finance activities and project work within the plant.
Projects involved with:
Serves on various plant, division and corporate project teams on ad-hoc basis. Providing financial analysis and internal control support to ensure compliance and decisions based on financial data.
Role within group:
Financial Lead within the facility; Key member and decision maker of the plant management staff
Travel Requirements: Minimal
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40+
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
5 - 10 years of relevant experience
Required Skills:
Knowledge of financial and management accounting, including systems, compliance and reporting requirements
CPA, CMA certification is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Adept at interacting and communicating with all aspects of the business, including plant staff and senior managers
Strong computer skills (Excel, PeopleSoft, Khalix)
Ability to act under pressure in fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
Cost modeling
Inventory control and management
Manufacturing/Six Sigma background
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
