The global Finance Function acts as a proactive business partner, advising and making recommendations based upon financial projections and historical performance. Finance also provides financial expertise companywide and ensures accurate and efficient transaction processing.
Scope of Position:
Provide cost analysis and establish best practices for the CET division and related plants
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Develop a cost model that captures choices made during strategic 5 year planning process.
Develop a process for official documentation of GreenBook plan AMC & unit costs in khalix
Update the high level cost model for current year standards
Administer the AMC control process by plant with a standardized approach
Analyze and report on manufacturing unit costs
Define & implement standardized practices among plants.
Analyze and report on finished good inventory pieces among plants
Proactively utilize business partnership skills to move the division to better cost understanding and higher profitability.
Assist plants with inventory & asset counts
Adhoc margin analysis
Other functions and projects as assigned in support of plant and division operations.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal - with visits to sites to support on-going initiatives
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
Generally Mon - Fri, 40 -hour work week, additional hours as needed
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
MBA and/or CPA
Required Years and Area of Experience:
1-3 years of relevant experience
Required Skills:
Knowledge of financial and management accounting
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to be comfortable interacting and communicating with all aspects of the business, including plant staff and senior managers.
Sound cross functional skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
