This position requires a high level of safety awareness and the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties:
Operate a forklift to move product from one location to another Load and unload products onto or off of pallets, shelves, racks, or crates using hand-held devices or power tools Check product for damage or defects using hand-held devices or power tools Maintain safe working conditions by following safety procedures and rules Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Follow the instructions of supervisors and managers in receiving instructions from them.
Maintain a positive attitude and team spirit to enhance your performance as a team member.
Shift/ Hours Friday - Monday 5a-3p Friday - Monday 5p-3a Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history when employing individuals at the levels indicated by the company.
Forklift experience is required.
Must possess strong attention to detail.
Must be able to read a map and follow directions.
Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Skills:
Must be able to work safely in a warehouse environment Must be able to work on a repetitive basis Forklift experience preferred but not required Ability to work overtime as needed Able to lift 50
