Corning, NY - Charlotte, NC - Possible Remote Purpose of the Position:
The Financial Operations and Vendor Management Consultant is responsible for activities necessary for the timely and accurate processing of invoices from WD&L's vendors, including liaising with Data Privacy and other internal departments related to new vendors, onboarding new vendors as a Corning supplier, ensuring SOWs and invoices comply with company policies, performing reviews to detect potential errors, and act as a key contact for vendor relations. The Financial Operations and Vendor Management Specialist will also assist with Learning Management System (LMS) activities such as monitoring items for expiration, running reports within the system, and preparing those reports for other departments' consumption. This position reports directly to WD&L's Global Operations and Program Manager. Day-to-Day
Responsibilities:
Review SOWs for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards Process and organize invoices, matching POs against SOWs. Maintain archive for easy reference Monitor spending and keep the organization within its set budget Vet funding requests for merit and authenticity Meet with finance, prepare reports, and estimate future financial needs Complete Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and AAR forms for new suppliers and monitor as needed Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of WD&L operations Assist with revenue forecasts, classroom demand, and other ad hoc analysis Be a contact for processing translation requests Perform Report inquiries in True Blue for WD&L Serve as a backup for True Blue LMS Administration Required Skills:
Demonstrated ownership and consistent delivery on commitments, exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail. Analytical in nature, able to see how details affect big picture Power user of Microsoft Excel required, and familiarity with Tableau of Power BI preferred Bachelor's degree 5-7 years relevant experience Desired Skills:
Experience with PeopleSoft and/or invoicing preferred Experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred Soft Skills:
Ability to see the big picture while tracking details Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams Strong work ethic and positive attitude This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & Logistics, Corporate Finance, ProcurementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
