Corning's Corporate Communications function is looking for an experienced and motivated leader to manage our enterprise social media program. This role will lead and be responsible for the vision, strategy, and governance for all current and future corporate channels. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented professional who has a pulse on the social media landscape and has led creative strategy for a global brand, either in-house or at an agency. This candidate will develop robust, integrated paid and owned/earned strategies to help Corning tell its story in a new way. They will help define the company's social media mission and establish our social voice for purpose-driven communications using both established and emerging platforms. They will also work cross-functionally to build, execute, and measure highly effective integrated campaigns. This equally strategic and creative role will ensure that social media plans are effectively integrated into brand marketing and paid, earned, and owned media activations. They will have a track record of developing highly creative marketing for social media campaigns and will have demonstrated the ability to think big, work smart, and implement innovative ideas in ways that create significant social sharing opportunities and generate positive reputation equity to reach and influence new and existing target audiences. Day to Day
Responsibilities:
o Lead and manage enterprise-wide social media program and its associated budget across campaigns and channels in alignment with Corning's values and business priorities o Establish a social strategy and editorial approach that delivers intentional and relevant content to targeted audiences o Develop impactful social campaigns that lead to an improvement in brand/ reputation favorability and trust with key partners and targeted audiences o Strategically grow the social media program to increase impact, maximize engagement, and reach and gain attention of priority audiences o Manage all corporate media channels, including the creation of best-in-class social media copy and creative assets to drive specific campaign and brand initiatives o Serve as consultative liaison for Corporate Communications with other businesses and departments for cross-functional collaboration and alignment on creative ideas, plans, and strategies o Reviews and assess the need for new channels (business or corporate) and emerging communications tools to execute strategy o Manage and lead external agency(s) to ensure detailed execution of campaigns and activations o Set targets and timelines to execute and measure programs and handle integrated content calendar to establish content development and distribution process o Leverage analytics and insights to assess the value and impact of social media efforts, including influencer and media engagement o Develop and maintain a process workflow that ensures consistent execution and delivery of campaigns with agency and business teams - assess effectiveness and modify as needed o Create, evolve, and maintain company's social media guidelines and policy, standard methodologies and resources, rules of engagement, and toolkits o Manage, lead and train Corning's social media community managers and employees on the evolving social media governance model to ensure compliance and advocacy o Collaborate with regional teams for global representation across channels o Proactively stay abreast of tools, channels, and industry trends Travel Requirements:
o Travel up to 25% and required to Corning NY, if not located there full-time Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

years of relevant industry experience o Previous digital or creative experience (in-house or at an agency preferred) Required Skills:
o Experience leading paid and organic marketing campaigns o Demonstrated success leading creative/integrated communications programs o Well versed in the functionality of all applicable media platforms o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Strong presentation skills to both executive-level and external partners o Passion for storytelling, influencer marketing, and building a global community through social media o Design capabilities including graphic design, illustration, animation, photography, video editing
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
