JOB TITLE
IMS Programmer Analyst
SCOPE OF POSITION
Analyst for IMS solution delivery
Development, support and maintenance for Integrated Manufacturing System (IMS) Camstar solutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact with customer to gather and define system requirements
Review and respond to documented issues related to a system change
Provide oversight of development work. Monitor the quality of the output to ensure end product meets required specifications.
Trouble-shoot complex applications problems or other IT problems that may have a significant impact on the business
Serve as the functional lead on projects by participating as project resource
Utilize Software Development Life-cycle processes
Develop, test, and implement software solutions
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum 2 years hands-on industry MES experience (Camstar is highly desired)
Minimum 2 years hand-on industry experience with .Net, ASP, and VB (all three req'd)
Minimum 2 years hands-on industry experience with SQL Server software development including complex queries, views, triggers, and stored procedures as well as SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
Work independently to develop, test, troubleshoot, and document system requirements
Accurately and effectively communicate the status of tasks
Provide accurate estimates of the time and effort required to complete tasks
Work independently with minimal oversight and management
Work with end users to develop requirements
Must be able to work onsite in Corning, NY for the duration of the contract
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience developing solutions for manufacturing applications
Experience utilizing Team Foundation Server
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
4 year degree and at least 4 yrs experience in Information Technology
At least 2 years working in a manufacturing environment
SOFT SKILLS (Communication/Team/Leadership)
Self-starter and takes ownership for deliverables and deadlines
Team player
DURATION
Long term, ongoing
COMPENSATION actual pay rates will be discussed during phone screen
Hourly - (401K)
Salaried LIMITED Benefits (paid vacation/holidays, 401K, short-term disability, life insurance).
Salaried FULL Benefits (paid medical/dental, paid vacation/holidays, 401K, short/long-term disability, life insurance)
